350.org’s DC Summer Fellows

DC Action Lab managed 350.org’s summer fellows program. Fellows learned the basics of campaign strategy, meeting facilitation, and action planning. The team organized 350’s “Summer Heat” action on the ground in DC, managing hundreds of participants of the “Walk for our Grandchildren” and direct action against ERM, the contractor responsible for misrepresenting the Keystone Pipeline as environmentally safe. Fellows also phone banked, planned and carried out actions around Obama’s public events, wheatpasted busy DC neighborhoods, and birddogged relevant public representatives.
