Flood the Capitol: Our Last Chance to #CancelKavanaugh

On the day that the Senate was slated to vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, October 6, 2018, DC Action Lab worked with the Women’s March and many other organizations to coordinate protests of Kavanaugh’s confirmation vote and demonstrations of support for survivors of sexual violence. We trained thousands of activists who showed up that morning, facilitated planning a range of actions, maintained a convergence space, and handled jail and legal support for any and all activists who needed it. As the Senate voted, thousands of women, survivors, and allies flooded the Capitol and occupied the steps. After Kavanaugh was confirmed, they then occupied the Supreme Court steps.
