Stop Watching Us Rally

Stop Watching Us, a coalition of 100 public advocacy groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union, Freedom Works, as well as individuals like Chinese activist Ai Weiwei and Glenn Greenwald, organized a demonstration of thousands in Washington in October of 2013 for the largest rally yet in protest of NSA and government surveillance. Demonstrators marched from Union Station to the Capitol Building for a rally where they delivered 575,000 signatures. The action was covered by every major news service and received international attention.
